  • Refractive Error

Refractive error means that the shape of your eye does not bend light correctly, resulting in a blurred image. The main types of refractive errors are myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (farsightedness), presbyopia (loss of near vision with age), and astigmatism

  • Catract

When a cataract interferes with someone's usual activities, the cloudy lens can be replaced with a clear, artificial lens. This is generally a safe, outpatient procedure.

  • Gulucoma

The main objective in treating glaucoma is to lower intraocular pressure (or "IOP") in the eye. A lower IOP can reduce damage to the optic nerve and save your remaining vision.

  • Diabetic Retianopathy

diabetic retinopathy ([?r?tn'?p??i]), also known as diabetic eye disease, is when damage occurs to the retina due to diabetes. It can eventually lead to blindness. It is an ocular manifestation of diabetes, a systemic disease, which affects up to 80 percent ofall patients who have had diabetes for 20 years or more

  • Hypertaine Retianopathy

The changes in hypertensive retinopathy result from damage and adaptive changes in the arterial and arteriolar circulation in response to the high blood pressure

  • Uveitis

Anterior Uveitis Treatments. Anterior uveitis may be treated by: Taking eye drops that dilate the pupil to prevent muscle spasms in the iris and ciliary body (see diagram). Taking eye drops containing steroids, such as prednisone, to reduce inflammation.

  • Squint

Certainly the appearance can lead to problems for the child, but a squint is not merely a cosmetic problem. If left untreated, it can lead to a permanent visual defect in the squinting eye. Treating squint would be cosmetically desirable and glasses or surgery can give good results in many cases.

  • Eye Lid Surgery

Eyelid surgery (also called an eye lift or blepharoplasty), reduces bagginess from lower eyelids and removes excess skin from the upper eyelids. This surgery is usually done for cosmetic reasons. It's also an effective way to improve sight in older people whose sagging upper eyelids get in the way of their vision.

  • Paediatric Eye Diseases

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine dealing with the health and medical care of infants, children, and adolescents from birth up to the age of 18.
